Recruiters

UniqueView uses recruiters and partners that we have built relationships with over a long period of time. They understand the standards we expect to be adhered to and a proven track record has built trust with them. Our recruiters thoroughly trained in what is expected from them and the codes of conduct we adhere to. Translations of screeners are always proof read by a second person and any potential misunderstandings or ambiguities brought to light. At this point, after clearly understanding the target respondent criteria, Supervisors discuss with the Project Manager the best recruiters and methods to use to find this target audience. Once determined, recruiters are extensively briefed about the nature of the project before they start their recruiting.

UniqueView adheres to ESOMAR standards of ethics in all our data collection and all our recruiters are well aware of the standards expected and the consequences for not meeting these standards.

Our Databases

Our databases of recruiters and respondents has been built up over 10 years and is carefully maintained to assure it’s ongoing quality. China has more than its fair share of cheating when it comes to respondents participating in market research, so through tracking for potentially fake respondent, past participation or simply ‘less than ideal’ respondents we make sure they do not get used again for any any of our studies.

Networking and Referrals

Given the Chinese society’s emphasis on ‘Guanxi’ (personal networks/connections and trust) it is not surprising that networking usually forms a central part in many of the project we carry out, particularly with ‘difficult to reach’ target audiences. This critical aspect in China in what, often, makes recruitment difficult for foreign market research companies opening branches here to build their own network. They are outsiders and it’s take a lot of time to build trusted networks. This is why they often simply outsource to local partners to do most of their recruitment, and this includes the big MR companies.
